This week, our EPAS Junior Ambassadors joined students from other schools across Luxembourg for a study visit to the EU institutions in Brussels — to see European democracy in action, and to bring it back to our school community.
What we did (highlights):
Visited Experience Europe (the European Commission’s interactive exhibition in Brussels)
Took part in sessions on shaping the future of Europe, EU youth strategy & programmes, and a debate on how citizens can contribute to EU policymaking
Enjoyed lunch at the Commission and then headed to the European Parliament for a guided visit
Met Luxembourg MEPs Charles Goerens and Isabel Wiseler-Lima for a direct exchange and Q&A
Why EPAS?
The European Parliament Ambassador School Programme (EPAS) helps students better understand European parliamentary democracy, the role of the European Parliament, and their rights as EU citizens—and encourages young people to participate actively in democratic life.
Proud of our ambassadors for representing our school and turning “Europe” into something real, concrete, and discussable.
